No Kids Cold 2025 Volunteers

Every winter we see children and teens in Chicago walking to school in hoodies or thin jackets. Roughly 151,000 children live in poverty in Chicago. According to the U.S. Census Bureau's Supplemental Poverty Measure (SPM), child poverty in Chicago increased from 5.2% in 2021 to 12.4% in 2022. This was the largest year-over-year increase in poverty rate on record for individuals aged 17 and younger.

As many of us fight to change the systems that cause these conditions, there is an easy work upon which we invite you to embark.  Let's make sure no kid in Chicago walks to school cold this winter due to the lack of access to a winter coat!  Join us on October 4th at 10AM to help. We can do this!

Please let us know what areas you would like to help out with.
